"We use ethically sourced, vegan, plastic free materials to create beautiful, highly scented handmade candles.
But where did our name come from? The 'Ink' stands for co
ffee... the 'morsels' stand for snacks.. it quite literally translates to coffee and donuts. It's simple really! Our favourite thing to do is sit with a hot cup of coffee and some snacks in a warm, comfortable space with a candle burning. It feels special, it feels safe, and we love it so much we wanted to share our favourite scents and designs with the world.

We put our hearts and souls into each design, and we would never sell anything that we wouldn't buy ourselves. We love the whole experience of buying or receiving a new candle. Removing it from the packaging, amiring them when they're beautifully coloured and decorated, smelling them whilst they're cold, lighting them for the first time... We all know that feeling.
Our candles are hand poured with love by candle lovers, for candle lovers."

An oriental accord, loaded with cedarwood, rose water, oud, patchouli, tonka bean, leather and saffron.
I scoured the internet for a uk seller that delivered vegan, paraben free, cruelty free scents that would also create fragrance oils suitable for a highly scented candle. I searched and searched for a scent that would be kind of perfume style, kind of sweet but not TOO sweet. It needed to be special, almost like aftershave, almost like perfume, but not too much..

I wanted it to be 'mysterious'.. if a candle can be mysterious.
I'm fully aware this sounds like a ridiculous request, but I loved the idea of the name and the design so much that in my head It needed to be all these things and more.
With every other candle I've made I've tried multiple options from multiple wholesalers before I've found a fragrance I've loved... but not with this scent.
For this candle. I read the desciprtion and I placed a large, impulsive, bulk order without even trying it, and I can safely say It was probably one of my best life decisions.
Love you to death is a tribute to my fiancé, the enigma that is my soul mate. Can you see why I had such a hard time choosing a fragrance? How do you pick one scent that encompasses all the things that remind you about the person you love? I think I nailed it.

The cute little twisty wicks on these candles are designed to be trimmed before use - if you do not trim the wick your candle will burn out a lot quicker and be wasted. If left untrimmed, it will create a large flame that might look impressive for a minute or two but then you realise you've burnt through all your wax. So... just to clarify, keep those wicks trimmed!

In order to get the best burn and the most time out of your candle, you want to make sure that you're not burning your candle in a draught, you're trimming your wick to 5mm and you're keeping the wax pool clear of matches and debris. Candles actually have a memory - the first burn is the most important. If you let your burn pool expand to the edges of the surface on the first burn you're more likely to reach every last bit of wax in the tin until the candle is burnt.

High quality, parabens free fragrance oils have been compared against other oils and selected by me personally. They do not contain any animal derived ingredients, they are not tested on animals and thus they are vegan friendly. I'm proud to share that every fragrance oil I use in my candles is manufactured in the UK.
My fragrance oils are delivered and preserved in biodegradable, natural plastic bottles. I buy my flowers & petals from a UK wholesaler which arrive in one large recyclable plastic bag. My tins are recyclable Aluminium and, again, are from a uk wholesaler. There is a very small (half a green pea) sized blob of biodegradable hot melt adhesive that secures the wicks to the bottom of the containers. Some eco candlemakers choose to attach their wicks with wax, but I find that once heated, the wax melts, dislodging the wicks, causing a potential fire hazard, so the small amount of glue ensures this won't happen. Any glitter I use is a biodegradable candle glitter made from vegetable starch - it is plastic free, cruelty free & plant based. Any coloured wax is coloured with eco-friendly, vegan friendly, cruelty free, non-toxic dyes. If you have any questions about exact wholesalers please drop me a message and I will provide links.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from things that can catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Use a heat resistant candleholder.
